Presentation:
Before anyone can repair cracked and spalling concrete from corrosion, the cause needs to be discovered and evaluated. The presentation will outline the major causes of corrosion in concrete and how to mitigate it along with effective long-term solutions and repairs.
Speaker:
Presented by Frank Dressman Corrosion Solutions Manager for the Southeast United States for Structural Technologies.
Mr. Dressman has worked with consulting engineers in Marine and Port, Industrial, Distributed Energy, Transportation and Commercial fields for more than eight (8) years throughout the United States and parts of South America. He has collaborated on the design and implementation of solutions and corrosion repair and control systems for many owners and design engineers. They have provided solutions for corroding reinforcing steel and submerged structures in a variety of settings and conditions involving many types of structural and corrosion problems on a variety of transportation and marine structures. They have worked with many Port Authorities including the Port of New Orleans, ASPA, JaxPort and the Port of Tampa to name a few.
