Today’s construction projects are larger, more complicated, and faster-paced than anything we have performed in the past. On top of the sheer size and speed of the projects is the massive amount of data produced in conjunction with them. The key to these projects running successfully is intentional, proactive communications. Materials testing and reporting cannot run the same way it has in the past and instead must evolve with today’s technologies. Terracon has developed a method of utilizing today’s technology to facilitate clear, concise, and easily sortable materials testing reports in ways never thought about before. Namely, we are putting these reports and observations right into the plan set to allow the data to be accessed in the same way that project staff understands and sees their project.

Speaker: Michael P Jenkins, PE. National Director Transportation Construction Engineering. Michael has spent 20 years running and building highway bridge construction projects across the nation. He has brought that experience to Terracon to help them to continue to evolve and provide the best possible service to their clients in the transportation construction industry.
