Topic:   Connecting Cladding to Concrete Structures and Connecting Concrete to Concrete Allowing for Movement and Not Allowing Movement – Halfen Anchors

Halfen manufacturers a wide variety of anchors for precast cladding, glass cladding and masonry cladding. They also manufacture dowel assemblies, form savers and shear dowel systems that allow shear transfer across moving joints and shear transfer across joints that can be locked once the concrete has experienced its initial shrinkage or post-tensioning shortening. Post-tension pour strips have been made easy.

Speaker: Mr. Lance Osborne, P.E. – Lance is the Business Development Sales Manager at Halfen USA. He received his BS in Civil Engineering and MS in in Structural Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He maintains professional engineering licenses in 21 states and 3 Canadian provinces. Over the last 20 years he has managed an engineering team, developed/tested/launched new products into the precast and cast-in-place concrete markets and is currently working closely with European subsidiaries to launch newly developed products to the United States.
