Topic: Choosing Building Systems? Why not Concrete?: A Panel Discussion
There will a brief introduction on concrete construction in Northeast Florida by Mark J. Keister, P.E. followed by a panel discussion on concrete construction in Northeast Florida.
Panelists:
Mr. Bryan Butcher – Chief Estimator in the Southeast District with Hensel Phelps. Bryan has been Chief Estimator for 16 years.
Mr. Tom Wood – Southeast Regional Manager with Ceco Concrete Construction, LLC. Tom has been with Ceco for 18 years.
Mr. Mark J. Keister, P. E.- Structural Engineer and Principal with Atlantic Engineering Services of Jacksonville. Mark practiced for 4 years in Atlanta, Georgia and has practiced in Jacksonville since 1986.
Mr. Michael A. Schmieder, AIA-Project Design Principal with Haskell. Michael has practiced in Jacksonville for 43 years design / building facilities across the country in both structural steel and concrete.
