Construction Site Safety Basics with New Proposed OSHA Requirements
Lance Simons will present an introduction to job site safety going over the major items for keeping a construction site safe and personnel on site safe. He will also go over new proposed OSHA requirements which will profoundly affect everyone who visits and works on construction sites and concrete production facilities.
Speaker: Mr. Lance Simons
Mr. Lance Simons is the director of corporate safety for the Haskell Company with a BS in Business Management from California Coast University and Occupational Safety, Safety Training Methods and Safety Management Techniques from the Georgia Institute of Technology and numerous registrations and licenses from OSHA, NCCER, ASSE and ACIG. Lance is responsible for safety and health performance of construction operations. He is instrumental in establishing rules and programs known to all construction employees. Lance makes necessary safety training and materials available including first-aid training and certification and conducts periodic inspections of job sites maintaining records and monitoring all aspects of the safety program for effectiveness.
