Manuel Conde, the Regional manager for LENTON will present why reinforcing couplers are used, the reinforcing code requirements and coupler and headed reinforcing code requirements. It will enumerate the splicing options and headed bar options along with applications and types of mechanical couplers and headed bar. Also included will be evaluation reports and QPL’s. It will outline LENTON technical services and expertise and will finish with high-profile project examples.

Manuel Conde, Regional Manager with LENTON. Manuel has a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and worked in LENTON engineering for seven (7) years. He has been a technical sales manager for seven (7) years in the Midwest and now in the Southeast. He is Chair of the CRSI Rebar Anchorage and Splice Committee and is a voting member of the ACI 550 Precast Concrete Structures Committee and the PCI Design Standards Committee. Manuel is also a consulting member of the PCI Parking Structures Committee.
